Omelet Sandwich

Sandwiches are a popular type of breakfast, lunch food, taken to work, school, to be eaten as part of a packed lunch. In a sandwich we can use only vegetables or meat or egg or some seafood along with bread. Many types of sandwich are popular, like, cheese Sandwich, Reuben Sandwich, Shawarma Sandwich, Paneer Sandwich, Chicken Sandwich, Meat and cheese Sandwich etc. Here I am making simple omelet sandwich, which is too much tasty and healthy too. You can very easily prepare it for breakfast or lunch.

• Eggs 3
• Brown bread slices 4
• Onion 1 (small size and chopped finely)
• Green chillies 2(chopped finely)
• Tomato 1 (small size and chopped finely)
• Capsicum 3 tablespoons
• Tomato ketchup as needed
• Cheese slices 2
• Butter as needed
• Oil as needed
• Salt as needed
• Oregano seasoning 2 tablespoons


Prepare the omlette

Heat some oil in a pan. When it turns hot add onion, green chillies, capsicum and tomato. Briefly fry it. Sprinkle some salt. Now beat the eggs in a bowl and whisk well. When the veggies get fried lightly add the egg mixture over it and cook it until you can flip it properly. Then cook the other side. Then fold it in half and cut in two pieces.

Spread tomato ketchup on the bread slices and place omelet between two

Now take the bread slices and spread tomato ketchup on one side of every slices. Then take one piece of the omelet and place on the side with ketchup. Put a slice of cheese on it and close it with another bread slice keeping ketchup-side within. Repeat the process with the remaining bread slices.

Spread butter on the outer side and grill

Now spread some butter on the outer sides of every bread slices and then grill them for about 4-5 minutes.

Cut diagonally and sprinkle oregano seasoning

After grilling it is almost ready. Now just cut them diagonally to give the proper shape and sprinkle some oregano seasoning on it.

Better serve with green chutney or tomato ketchup

Now omelet sandwich is properly ready to serve. Serve it hot with green chutney or tomato ketchup.
