Sandwiches are very easy and popular breakfast. Different popular types of sandwiches are Shawarma Sandwich, Paneer Sandwich, Chicken Sandwich, Omelet Sandwich etc. But if you don’t have ingredients like paneer, egg or chicken, don’t worry, still you can make sandwich and that is Potato Sandwich. Very easy to make and very simple ingredients you need to prepare this sandwich.

• Bread (any type) 8 slices
• Potatoes 4 (medium size)
• Cumin powder 1 teaspoon
• Coriander powder 1 teaspoon
• Chat masala 2 teaspoon
• Salt as needed
• Green chilli 3 (chopped)
• Tomatoes 1 or 2 (sliced)
• Onion 1 (sliced)
• Tomato ketchup as needed
• Butter as needed
• Cheese slice 4
• Coriander leaves 3 tablespoons (chopped)
Boil, peel and mash the potatoes
In a pressure cooker add the potatoes, some water and some salt. Close the lid and allow it to whistle 5 or 6 times or as much as you need to make the potatoes tender. Now when it releases the pressure totally, open the lid and peel the potatoes and mash it totally.
Prepare the potato stuffing
Now to prepare the stuffing, take a bowl and in it add the mashed potato, cumin powder, coriander powder, chat masala, salt, chopped green chillies and chopped coriander leaves and mix everything properly.
Place the stuffing and the veggies between two bread
Now take the bread slices and spread some tomato ketchup on one side of each bread slices.Then take a generous amount of the stuffing and spread it on the side with ketchup. Place the sliced veggies on the stuffing and then put a slice of cheese on it and close it with another bread keeping the ketchup-side within. Repeat the process with remaining bread slices.
Spread butter on the outer side and grill
Now spread some butter on the outer sides and then grill them till it becomes crispy.
Cut diagonally and serve hot
After grilling it is almost ready. Now just cut them diagonally to give them proper shape. Now serve hot Potato Sandwich with green chutney or ketchup.
